Founder's Biography

Jesse graduated Magna Cum Laude and Beta Gamma Sigma from the G.R. Herberger School of Business at Saint Cloud State University with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Finance.

Before founding Johnson Capital Management, LLC, Jesse joined MetLife Financial Services where he worked as an Investment Advisor Representative serving individuals and small businesses. Jesse furthered his career in the investment industry by joining The Hartford as a Financial Analyst in the Investment Portfolio Finance division. In this role he took responsibility for the daily operations for several of The Hartford's mutual funds.

Jesse is a member of the Paladin Registry, an independent third party advisor rating organization. According to the Registry, less than 10% of advisors qualify for membership. As the Paladin Registry membership is so exclusive, Jesse works diligently to uphold the standards of the Registry.

Jesse is also a member of the Investment Committee for Lyngblomsten, a non-profit organization providing care to older adults. With other members of the Investment Committee he reviews the Investment Policy and suggests changes as necessary, reviews performance of investments and makes changes as needed to replace poor performance or non compliance with policy, and provides an annual report to the board with regards to investments.
